This document presents an agroecological innovation from Niger where sanitized human urine (OGA) is used as a low-cost natural fertilizer. It improves millet yields by up to 30%, addresses soil fertility decline, reduces dependence on chemical fertilizers, and promotes waste valorization. The practice is simple, widely adopted, and particularly empowering for women.
