Improving Women’s Access to Organic Matter in Central Burkina Faso

This document describes a social innovation aimed at improving rural women’s access to organic matter within smallholder farms in central Burkina Faso. Through the FRN approach, it establishes a new social agreement allowing women to raise sheep and use animal manure to fertilize their fields, addressing gender inequities and soil fertility challenges. The initiative involves community dialogue, cultural adaptation, and gradual implementation of livestock ownership for women.
