The IDEMS Podcast is informal, of-the-moment conversation between IDEMS team members–and occasionally with our collaborative partners. We talk about what we’re working on, what’s shaping our thinking, and the slow, collaborative work of building innovative technology that benefits society.

One week we’re talking about working on the ground with farmers in West Africa; the next we dive deep into an alternative vision for responsible AI that’s sustainable and safe. We explore what community-centred tech really means, and how more inclusive tech emerges from pioneering mathematical science. We’re honest about the challenges of building (and funding!) ambitious tech for public good as a social enterprise that must reinvest profits in our mission.

We’re not slickly produced but we have lots of ideas for what we might do if we were. In the meantime, consider this the audio version of our company blog: Just a real-time view into ideas, experiences and news from the frontlines of our work from the people doing the work.
